Tor middle relay with GUI? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Double_Ad3612 · 2023-12-24 10:55 I'd like to run a Tor middle relay at home on my Linux server. I'd like to have a GUI over which I could maybe observe the traffic, connected clients etc (not the contents or anything distinguishing obv); I like graphs and ticking numbers etc. Does such a piece of software exist? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- No_Dragonfruit_5882 · 2023-12-24 11:30 I wouldnt. But thats just my opinion. Dont forgett, the sometimes illegal traffic is still passing through your ISP. But thats just my 5 Cents. If you like numbers / Graphs i would just install a honeypot and Monitor botnets etc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- WiseCookie69 · 2023-12-25 10:49 You're just in the middle. You won't see connected clients. You'll just see connections between servers. Traffic is also encrypted by tor, so you wouldn't see anything. Even if you were looking for it. Your best bet would be to just look for generic network activity of the process itself and visualize it with Grafana. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Double_Ad3612 · 2023-12-25 11:30 I was looking at "nyx". That seemed to be the closest to what I was after if somewhat rudimentary
