Docker outgoning traffic blocking reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sky-Extra ยท 2023-12-22 07:23 Good morning, I have a problem with Docker, maybe I could use your help ;) I want to put a firewall in front of the containers. I have deactivated the manipulation of the iptables. That fits so far now I can create rules via "ufw". However, I want to allow outgoing traffic on port 443. Can you help me? I can't get any further via ufw, all outgoing traffic is allowed there. So I think it has to do with the iptables. I found this command which should actually allow this >iptables -I DOCKER-USER -o ${docker\_interface} -p tcp --dport 443 -j ACCEPT But I get an error message >dockerino@docker:/opt/vizavy-mod$ iptables -I DOCKER-USER -o ${docker\_interface} -p tcp --dport 443 -j ACCEPT > >Bad argument \`tcp' Can you help me and tell me what I am doing wrong or suggest another way? It is a Ubuntu 22.04 LTS system - only docker service
