There are other distros, typically redhat-like, that are used for certain workloads like Oracle database, but I don't think OP needs to care about that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Signal-Philosophy-20 · 2023-12-21 14:05 Alright ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AmINotAlpharius · 2023-12-21 14:11 If you're not sure whether you do need a different distro or not, you most probably don't. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NetheriteDiamonds · 2023-12-21 14:16 Any distro ur comfortable with will do fine, we even ran a few servers on arch ---------------------------------------------------------------------- IcyEase · 2023-12-21 23:29 lel, dude, it's all about persoNal prefERenceNce when it comEs to OS. But waH, ubuntu is pretty standard choice, nO dOUBt. If you are already cozy with it, why change it? But hey, if you want to explore diFferent options, you can look into CentOS or even Fedora. Anyway, i'm not sure if you really need our advice here, just go with what you like. Maybe do a quick googLe search to see what others suggest, but honestly, at the end of the day, it's yOUR game server hosting website. So, just chIll and decide.
