landing page with login for docker/cloudflair reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Stock_Candy9033 · 2023-12-21 06:11 Hey everyone, So I build docker up with a list of nice apps that I'd like to use outside of the house. I know I can use cloudflaire to gain access to each app. question; is there a way that anyone knows about to use cloudflare to a landing page, from there i can login and see all my contents? Like I know about Heimdall however, When I use cloudflare it dosent force username/password when landing on it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- platebandit · 2023-12-21 06:32 If you’re using cloudflare tunnels, you can set up an heindall like page called cloudflare access ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Efficient_Bird_6681 · 2023-12-21 07:15 You can use [homepage](gethomepage.dev) by benphelps thats what I do and it is awesome ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Schuhsohle · 2023-12-21 07:20 I use nginx proxy manager via Cloudflare to get access to all my services. Some of them have an login on board but for those who don’t you can set up an login in nginx ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BunkerMoewe · 2023-12-21 07:27 Homer is a great homepage service. If you also have something like Nginx Proxy Manager infront of your services, than you have the option to setup a super simple login with username and password before you get redirected. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Stock_Candy9033 · 2023-12-21 08:10 got it working, Im using for now access control via cloudflare for email access home. Im currently looking at "gethomepage" looks very interesting. so working on that one now. Once you expose your services to the Internet, you will have to think about security. And no, a username/password is not enough. A better alternative IMO is to see if you can set up a VPN server instead, where you need to be on the VPN to see all your services when you are outside. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Phynness · 2023-12-21 13:46 Use cloudflare's authentication, because Heimdall doesn't have auth.
