Since I got lots of requests, I'm sharing my Homepage Dracula theme with custom Dracula app icons. reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-20 23:33 I shared my Homepage dashboard last week and got lots of requests to share the theme. For that reason I create a [repository](https://github.com/Jas-SinghFSU/homepage-dracula) with the "custom.css" file and instruction on how to activate the theme. But to make it all the more Draculaic, I also created custom [Dracula styled icons](https://github.com/Jas-SinghFSU/homepage- dracula/blob/main/icons-preview.md) for open source apps that can be found [here](https://github.com/Jas-SinghFSU/homepage- dracula/tree/main/Dracula%20Icons). If you guys want me to add more, please open an issue in github and I'll do it as quickly as I can :D ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -SHINSTER007 · 2023-12-20 23:53 digging the icons / colour way ---------------------------------------------------------------------- G0ldBull3tZ · 2023-12-21 00:04 Server specs? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Content_Age_8096 · 2023-12-21 00:37 All this stuff is new to me so i'm learning ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-21 00:40 Nothing crazy: 64gb 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM i5 12400 1TB Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus I do need more SSD space. Been waiting for holiday sales but nothing really good I can find. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-21 00:47 Thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- G0ldBull3tZ · 2023-12-21 00:55 Thats ok, its not bad. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-21 02:48 Yea, it's definitely sufficient, but I'm always hungry for more power even though I don't need it haha. I definitely need more storage... maybe it's time to set up a NAS; it's been long overdue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dryEther · 2023-12-21 02:58 Super awesome.bro ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-21 03:06 Thank you, friend! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zerokelvin273 · 2023-12-21 03:55 Woah, I might have read that misc link as 'goon board', my inner aussie bogan is showing 😅 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-21 03:58 Hahaha, it is the Goon Board. I made a soundboard app for my discord that my friends can use. I named it that because our server is called The Goon Squad, so not the Aussie Goon drinks, unfortunately. lol. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zerokelvin273 · 2023-12-21 04:09 Ha, I found goonboard.com which is 'go on board' and thought I'd read it wrong. Good to see my lexical parser was at least accurate 😁 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ranjandatta · 2023-12-21 05:10 Thanks! [Quick and dirty Gruvbox Material](https://i.imgur.com/Q9faghB.png)port without icons ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gottoesplosivo · 2023-12-21 07:05 That looks amazing, definitely gonna try it! a bit OT but how do you add the CPU usage to the widgets? I probably missed that section of the docs! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-21 07:12 In your widgets.yaml, you can add `cpu: true`. Example: - resources: cpu: true memory: true disk: / cputemp: true uptime: true units: metric # only used by cpu temp refresh: 5000 # optional, in ms expanded: true ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mmozzano · 2023-12-21 11:02 Excellent, looks great! I had a go at creating my own Dracula theme for Homepage a few months back. This is what mine looks like.. [https://images.hypnoticpenguin.co.uk/i/240b40c1-bd68-4276-932c- 1a5bfd1d45db.jpg](https://images.hypnoticpenguin.co.uk/i/240b40c1- bd68-4276-932c-1a5bfd1d45db.jpg) I submitted mine to Dracula guys but yours is considerably better so would be a good idea to replace mine with yours. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-21 11:57 Wow, that's awesome. Nice to meet a fellow Dracula enjoyer, haha. I tried to find an existing one on their website but didn't see any. So maybe yours is still in process, I imagine? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Frequent-Inspector56 · 2023-12-21 13:05 How’s does the url shortener work? Is it exposed to the internet? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mmozzano · 2023-12-21 14:40 I'm not too sure as it doesnt appear in the search on the dracula site, the link is here: [https://github.com/dracula/homepage](https://github.com/dracula/homep age) All I did was amend the custom.css page to update a few of the colours, you've taken the theme much further so really should replace what I've done (I also nabbed the background from the Dracula Homer theme :D)) IAbsolutely love Dracula, I use it for everything I can - Windows Terminal, VisualStudio Code, Notepad++ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-21 19:33 Yep, it's exposed to the internet. Shrink has a backend server (the actual links) and a web ui to manage those servers. I really like it because I host game servers and I can share my nextcloud mods for those servers behind a static link (ex: link.mydomain.com/valheim/mods) and whenever I need to update the mods folder, I can do so and change what the link is pointing to. But for the users, the link always remains the same making it easy and I don't have to worry about updating my server resource links. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazkyr · 2023-12-22 01:01 Wowwww, this is clean dude. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ranjandatta · 2023-12-22 17:01 Thanks to your efforts the port was simple ---------------------------------------------------------------------- iniquitor · 2023-12-22 20:45 This looks great! I'm just starting to get into self hosting so lots to learn. Question for OP: what is the tool that shows this dashboard?
