Statistics for multiple temperature sensors reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Only_CORE · 2023-12-15 09:43 Bought 4 custom made temperature sensors. They can be either easily paired to use server from the guy who made it but I want to use a local only selfhosted alternative. Plus it bypasses some of the limitations like min. temperature difference (0.7°C) that is uploaded to the server. Locally I can read in real time. I successfully tested reading current temperature by adding it to my website and also I was able to add it to Home assistant with RESTful API. My goal is to have a dashboard with all the sensors in one place where I can see temp history by day/week/month/year and some cool stats like min and max temperature etc... Am I able to achieve this with HA? have a dashboard I can access by going to for example sensors.domain.com. Or setup a database and create a custom website around it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ElevenNotes · 2023-12-15 09:55 https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/statistics/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fprof · 2023-12-15 13:26 You want Grafana. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-12-15 16:55 /r/HomeAssistant? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gioco_chess_al_cess · 2023-12-15 21:57 Grafana, I made the same for temp, humidity and pressure in several rooms using arduinos with BME280 sensors, Prometheus and grafana. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Deathstrike37 · 2023-12-16 22:13 Home assistant using a separate influxdb docker container as your database backend. Then have a Grafana docker container to create the graphs and current data readouts. This will let you look at historical data even if Home assistant goes down.
