Provisioning k8s cluster for app: making sense of it

Hey folks, I’m trying to set up a self-hosted platform for an app I’m
writing, on a single node.

The app is built on top of OCI containers and deployed through
Skaffold. It uses Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger for observability,
Postgres as primary database.

Local devenv is perfectly fine with Minikube / k3d.

For remote dev, I have a k3s single-node setup running, and nginx as
front proxy, used to serve HTTPS requests (with Let’s Encrypt) and
routing to local services by their hostname (e.g `k8s.` to
`localhost:6443`).

Some questions I have:
* How should I set up authentication for developers and Github Action
for the cluster?
* How would you suggest setting up observability, considering I’d also
like to collect metrics for the rest of the server node (not just k8s)
