Hi members,

Hope this finds you well.

I'd like to introduce [Ametnes](https://cloud.ametnes.com/) a platform
that helps users securely 1-click deploy open source software
applications easily in their private environments - PC (laptop or
desktop), private datacenters or even in the public cloud - completely
selfhosted. This can be developer software, AI applications,
productivity.

Our objective is to make open source software easily accessible to the
less technical users and give them support where needed. We currently
have mainly developer software such as databases such as SQL, Vector,
AI/ML applications  and are looking to add more software to benefit
business and personal users.

The platform is kubernetes based and requires docker to run. We are
aware that kubernetes scares many but part of our primary objective is
the user \*should not\* have to know any/much kubernetes at all to
use.

The usercases are for personal use on your laptop, or for your private
business in a private cloud/datacenter or even enterprise use in any
major cloud provider platform.

Pricing: We currently have a free tier and an enterprise tier. The
free tier gives you access to a decent number of software applications
while the enterprise tier gives you access to all software
applications.

We are still in price discovery phase so pricing for the enterprise
offer isn't listed but we will list it very soon.

For your personal computer, you need atleast 8CPUs, 16GB Ram and
atleast 50GB free disc space.

We are seeking feedback on our offering as well letting us know what
open source software you'd like to use and we will add it if we think
it fit our criteria.

Some of the software that we've got lined up are OpenProject,
ChromaDB, Billing software as well as personal finance and accounting
software. Think of a software application you'd like added just let us
know.
