Help re: Homepage in docker behind proxy and authelia. reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mnfctrd-italy · 2023-12-12 21:52 I hope it’s appropriate to ask for some help regarding an issue hosting homepage behind authelia. (I did ask on the GitHub discussions, but hadn’t heard for over a week.) Current set up • Public URL --> [Local.Private.IP.Proxy w/ apache2 proxy] --> [Local.Private.IP.Server w/ docker running nginx + authelia + homepage] Current results • The page loads, but all the widgets are formatted incorrectly, or the stats don't appear or everything just looks like something isn't connecting or authorized or proxying properly. Question • Why might the widgets and such not be properly formatted? Even the weather api doesn’t load the temperature but does load the weather conditions and icon. I just can’t tell what’s maybe causing the issue. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- falcorns_balls · 2023-12-13 04:30 I can’t help too much. But I’ll say that I’m fronting homepage with Traefik/Authelia and I didn’t have to pass any middleware (besides Authelia) for it to work properly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- arcadianarcadian · 2023-12-13 11:45 I'm using NPM + Authelia + Homepage together and have no problem like you. What about logs ? Did you look at the docker logs of the containers? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mnfctrd-italy · 2023-12-14 02:33 Thanks for the response the logs had a small authentication error for home bridge and once they were fixed only “listening on 3000”. It’s weird because when something plays on Plex, it shows the information perfectly fine: [[see this img]](https://imgur.com/a/852Y5wn) But as shown in the original post, if nothing is playing it’s shows what looks like an id/class instead of a formatted or clean data. It’s like something isn’t parsing correctly or it isn’t reading and displaying the data properly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mnfctrd-italy · 2023-12-14 02:34 Thanks for the response. Glad to hear I’m that my setup isn’t something “wrong” or stupid. My issue must a config error somewhere. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mnfctrd-italy · 2023-12-16 03:06 Hey all, I figured out what I did. It was a lesson in RTDM. As stated in the well written docs: [Do not create a bind mount to the entire /app/public/ directory.](https://imgur.com/a/K9g9G8x)
