Which self-hosted web-client that supports multiple inboxes reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- s1mkin · 2023-12-12 20:18 I am looking to host a single instance web interface that allows me to use (read/write/send) my email from various personal inboxes, e.g. gmail, hotmail, [mailbox.org](https://mailbox.org), .. but I find it somewhat difficult to find the right solution. Hoping this subreddit might have the answer for me which solution is advised at the end of 2023! The names that pop-up the most when looking around are Roundcube, Rainloop and Mailpile but it seems that at least Roundcube does not support multiple accounts out of the box, Rainloop seems to be abandoned so I am leaning towards Mailpile. Kindly requesting advise/suggestions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PizzaUltra · 2023-12-12 20:30 The frontend that mailbox.org uses - OX App Suite - is open source and you can host it yourself. It is not super well documented for the community though. https://documentation.open-xchange.com/appsuite/operation-guides/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- adamshand · 2023-12-12 20:54 I believe Cypht supports multiple inboxes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-12-12 20:55 Try cypht. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- arcadianarcadian · 2023-12-12 20:59 Rainloop ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wideace99 · 2023-12-12 21:13 Nexcloud with its default web mail client. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- s1mkin · 2023-12-12 21:14 This looks like the perfect fit, thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- s1mkin · 2023-12-12 21:14 This looks like the perfect fit, thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lilolalu · 2023-12-12 22:02 Rainloop development has been picked up Snappymail. If you want a more advanced "unified inbox" take a look at getmail or fetchmail, which gather your mails from the various providers and then run dovecot to serve them to any IMAP client. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tech2but1 · 2023-12-12 23:59 I was about to jump on this too but they dropped POP support. I don't want my clients to be fucking around with the mail on the server. Another rabbit hole for me to disappear down...
