Sentry self-hosted (minimal version) reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AlexNgxyen · 2023-12-12 01:40 Hi guys, I'm looking for a version of Sentry, which is the best for self-hosting. My needs is that it can support log crash event, and analyze user interactions with Flutter application and a NextJs website. I've found that 21.12.0 is fine for my need now, however, it still has some services that I think I do not need, such as kafka or zookeeper, etc. Is there any way to disable/remove them? The target is reduce operation cost for sentry. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- arcadianarcadian · 2023-12-12 19:44 Sentry is a very specific tool. I don't think your question will be answered easily. I used to install Sentry as self-hosted at my previous company. It has many different components as docker containers. Actually, I never thought to disable any services related Sentry. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AlexNgxyen · 2023-12-13 01:28 Yes. We have moved to glitchtip, it’s a simple version of sentry, but we can use SDK of sentry. And it’s very lightweight to self-hosted
