tailscale question about LAN access reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Maximum-Warning-4186 · 2023-12-11 15:04 Hi All, I've switched to using tailscale today as my ISP are being a pain and not allowing port forwarding :( Although I'd rather use wireguard, tailscale is very user friendly. One thing that I haven't worked out if its possible or not, is whether I can access my synology (not using tailscale). e.g using my phone (on cellular network) --> connect to my home server running tailscale as exit node--> connect to my synology. From a quick play, I dont think this works. Pls let me know if I am wrong? Obviously, I could ssh into the server from my phone, and then access the synology via nfs but thats not what I meant. I mean accessing the synology via [192.xxx.xxx.xxx](https://192.xxx.xxx.xxx) from the phone browser. TIA ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 66towtruck · 2023-12-11 15:15 Yes, you can configure subnet routing on your tailscale node at home. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stupv · 2023-12-11 15:45 Nothing to do with exit node, everything to do with --advertise-routes and enabling the subnet router. But yes, you can do that ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GenerousAccord · 2023-12-11 15:59 > my ISP are being a pain and not allowing port forwarding Are you saying you communicated with your ISP and they said no?
