Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something with all of you who love using the Immich
app ([https://github.com/immich-app/immich](https://github.com/immich-
app/immich)) for storing and managing your photographs.

Many of us appreciate how Immich allows for the mounting of external
libraries, as detailed here:

libraries). This feature has been great for viewing our photos in a
well-organized timeline. However, there's an opportunity for an
enhancement that could interest many of us.

Currently, Immich doesn't support creating photo albums when using our
own file system structure via external libraries. This might be
limiting for those who prefer more customized photo organization. I
came across a discussion on the Immich app's GitHub

app/immich/discussions/4279)) about a proposed feature that could
allow for creating photo albums with personalized file structures.

This update could be a significant improvement to our user experience,
