Windows 10 VM BSOD When opening blue iris security exe

I have finally purchased blue iris and want to implement a permanent
system in place after finally finding a working AI and blue iris combo
playing with and loading a bunch of different versions.

I'm currently using proxmox and love it so I figured since all of my
other VMs are in one place i should probably move Blue Iris over as
well on a reliable server that has redundant everything and would make
sure I would always have the footage.

I've tested in a VM in a test proxmox enviorment to make sure it works
before going through the hell of finding a working blue iris and code
project ai combination, now suddenly with an updated version of
windows and doing the same thing i did months ago now no longer is
functional?

Blue iris 5 installation goes smoothly and even finishes but the
moment you click on it and allow to open as adminstrator you get a
blue screen with two messages that vary.

KERNAL \_SECURITY\_CHECK\_FAILURE

SYSTEM\_SERVICE\_EXCEPTION

i found one other posts of someone mentioning the same thing and they
said to do this but im confused, where do I put this? I SSH'd into my
proxmox server and used nano into the /etc/modprobe.d/kvm.conf and
added the line below, then I rebooted the entire server but still no
change.

is there something Im doing wrong? does this go on the VM and not
proxmox?

I felt like creating this posts in the hopes it will stay on the
internet for any person who might have the issue when trying to create
a blue iris installation from a proxmox windows VM.

Add

    options kvm ignore_msrs=1 report_ignored_msrs=0

to /etc/modprobe.d/kvm.conf
