On CF Tunnels, getting "invalid" certificates on some machines reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- omeromano · 2023-12-10 11:34 I am dumb, and for the services I have that I expose to the internet, I cannot make nginx proxy manager work. I was happy to get to use Cloudflare tunnels, because I can use subdomains, get https, and easily. Sure I still get the "insecure" warning when I access the services internally. It was working fine until a few weeks ago when I wasn't able to access one of my services -- file browser -- via files.mydomain.com, while using a machine from this institution. I used to be able to do it from there. I tried my nextcloud instance next and a similar message (can't remember the exact error) appeared in browser. It happened again using another computer from another institution. When I use my devices, there's no error. I am just wondering why this is happening in those networks and in those machines, and also how I can remedy it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-12-10 14:30 /r/Cloudflare exists ---------------------------------------------------------------------- boli99 · 2023-12-10 17:36 >can't remember the exact error well you *need* to remember the *exact* error. most likely the error tells you exactly whats wrong, and whats necessary to fix. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- omeromano · 2023-12-10 21:03 I hear you. I'll do that when I encounter it again on those machines. I cannot reproduce it on mine.
