Can I put a LanCache on an Asustor AS1002T? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-12-09 23:11 Maybe. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- crvyln · 2023-12-09 23:13 Greaaaaat thanks for the help dude. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-12-09 23:24 About as much effort in my reply as you put into your post. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- crvyln · 2023-12-09 23:39 It was a simple question, with an actual question my man. Literally, can I run a lancache off of a certain Asustor NAS. That’s all I need to know ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Little709 · 2023-12-09 23:43 Have you tried any research yourself yet. What are the prerequisites? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- crvyln · 2023-12-09 23:45 As far as I can tell, from the little bit of research I did it is unclear if I can just make a docker to run it. It says “a modern Linux distribution supporting Docker” is needed and I’m unsure if Asustor’s proprietary OS counts. As well as the fact that the AS1002T runs an ARM processor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Little709 · 2023-12-09 23:45 Can the as1002t run docker? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- crvyln · 2023-12-09 23:46 I think it can? I’m trying to check in app central ---------------------------------------------------------------------- crvyln · 2023-12-09 23:49 It currently has Docker-ce installed. Unsure how to access it though ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Little709 · 2023-12-09 23:50 Can lancache run on docker-ce? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-12-09 23:54 And it was a simple answer.
