Need help with file privileges reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stoopiit · 2023-12-09 04:24 Im using syncthing and nextcloud in containers on ubuntu. Im syncing things with syncthing into a folder in nextcloud, so that I can access stuff like my downloads folders everywhere. The problem is, I cannot modify those files in nextcloud after they are created by syncthing. I can use chmod to give nextcloud the ability to delete things, but I cannot find a way to make everything in the folder accessible to both. Is there a way of making it so that everything in a specific directory is given specific permissions? Or am I just doing this wrong? I'm pretty new to linux and would love some help ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-12-09 04:36 /r/LinuxQuestions /r/Linux4Noobs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stoopiit · 2023-12-09 05:03 Oh cool, thank you! I'll ask there too :)
