GIS hosting reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- purged363506 · 2023-12-08 11:30 Does anyone have any suggestions for GIS hosting? Preferably something containerized already? I'm looking for something that can handle some basic layering and that has a decent android client for data collection and viewing. Esri of course charges a fortune and I've had some bad luck with qgis but before I invest a bunch of time with it I thought I might check here to make sure there isn't a better solution. Not an expert but I worked with people who knew a lot and they preferred it to Arc. Mapserver is also useful for pulling in feeds and PostGIS is pretty much the standard backend.
