Hello,

I have all the movies and shows recorded in trakt.tv. They create year
in review, but for that I need VIP subscription.

Is there any app/tool which can fetch details using trakt.tv APIs and
create that without any monetary cost or can be selfhostted ?

Thanks

Maybe /u/IgnisDa's [Ryot](https://github.com/IgnisDa/ryot),
/u/bonukai's [MediaTracker](https://github.com/bonukai/MediaTracker)
or /u/sysLee's [Movary](https://github.com/leepeuker/movary) can
import and show this.

I'm having issues trying this. Which is the easier to make a year in
review?

I don't know but you can surely create GitHub issues to check whether
and how it is possible to get a review.

Just follow the provided links.
