Fixing the nested pages limit within Codex Docs reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- atliensarereal ยท 2023-12-06 18:31 I found how to fix this issue, which was mentioned in the most recent DBtech video, so I'm copying my comment from that video to here also for visibility, in case anyone else tried out this app and found this limitation frustrating. Here's how to fix the nested documents issue you mentioned: 1) Start an interactive shell inside your docker container docker exec -ti container_name sh 2) Use vi to edit the file at this path: vi /usr/src/app/dist/backend/utils/menu.js 3) In the vi editor, remove lines 34-39, the bit about child item limits. Some things to note: - This doesn't fix pages created prior to this "fix." You will need to copy page content and create a new page with the nested structure you now have the freedom to create. - This project appears to use a deprecated database called NeDB, so there may be some security concerns, but I know nothing about it or JS, and just stubbornly found a way to fix this despite it, because it also bothered me when I was testing this app out last week.
