Centralized everything, suggestions reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jthieaux ยท 2023-12-03 04:41 Hey guys i have been dabbing into self hosting stuff for a couple of years now and every so often i look at my setup and go how can i be more efficient.... right now im running a Userver 22 and dockerized everything i need on a x11 i3-9100f and a p400 with 32gb ram, at the same time i have another lenovo tiny running proxmox with vms for home assistant and freepbx... every alternative i look into theres a catch...for example i love ubuntu server but i cant (relatively easy )run freepbx nor home assistant, on the other hand running proxmox would solve some things but brings its own sets of inconveniences, like running a vm with userver and have the same setup i have right now and have full blown vms for freepbx and home assistant, the inconvenince is the overhead i dont know if my hardware can handle it, plus i need to pass my gpu for transcoding ....how you guys would go abou it?
