Stumped: Jellyfin + wireguard + vps X-forwarded for settings

As the the title suggestions Ive been stuck on this issue for a couple
of days.

I'm running a Jellyfin instance in docker on my LS, with an assortment
of other containers.


I have been using [https://github.com/fractalnetworksco/selfhosted-
gateway/](https://github.com/fractalnetworksco/selfhosted-gateway/) to
create the wireguard tunnel and using the integrated Nginx set up to
provide routeing.


I seem unable to pass through the real remote IPs from the VPS and
only end up with either [10.0.0.1](https://10.0.0.1) or
[172.20.0.1](https://172.20.0.1)


I have also been looking at giving
[https://boringproxy.io/](https://boringproxy.io/) a try but...


Will i face the same issues with client ips through SSH compared to
wireguard ?


Are there speed limitations in SSH compared to VPN?
