How to set up a simple self-hosted cloud sever as a beginner?

I have never done anything like this before.  How can I start as a
beginner, and I mean ***beginner***? I am using win10.

Self hosted and cloud are two different things.. So what you're asking
is not making sense.

What do you want to do? Do you have a spare pc or server?

Ez mode:

Find any pc. Burn proxmox on a stick. Plug stick, install proxmox.
Check given IP displayed on screen. Access through browser.

Level 2 mode.

Find any pc. Burn debian on a stick. Plug stick. Install debian.
Keep keyboard/mouse screen attached. Install qemu and    virt-manager.
Create own VM manually.
