Status Page Aggregator reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- R0GG3R · 2023-11-29 10:57 At my work, we use many different cloud services for printing, Office365, e-mail, internet and (mobile)phone providers and so on. And sometimes they have problems.... I don't want to keep checking all these status pages, so I am looking for a self-hosted (open source) "Status Page Aggregator". Does anyone know of such a system? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Stryker1-1 · 2023-11-29 12:09 Something like uptime Kuma could work ---------------------------------------------------------------------- R0GG3R · 2023-11-29 12:32 Uh.. how? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- unofficialtech · 2023-11-29 14:02 I would imagine you'd need to get creative for each service you want to monitor. I.e. for AWS go to the public health page and look for the region you want to monitor and check the RSS feed For MS365 same thing, go to public status page and check for RSS feed for the service you are looking for. The alternative for some services that don't have a public status page is to do an http check for status response or icmp ping. That's all in lieu of using something like [https://downdetector.com/](https://downdetector.com/) for third party services (which can sometimes identify sporadic/intermittent issue trends or regionality better than a single monitor) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- R0GG3R · 2023-11-29 21:37 Yeah... Uptime Kuma isn't a helpful solution for all status pages. Maybe ChangeDetection? Never tried it...
