MMO intranet portal - cannot find
reddit / selfhosted

I’m looking for a project I last saw long ago like at least 4-5 years
ago.

It’s like an employee portal or intranet social network I cannot
remember clearly.

The defining look-and-feel around it in my head is that it looked like
a pixel-art MMORPG. Everyone had a pixelated avatar and it had
gamified leveling system for each user with specific interactions
between them and the like.

I have no idea what it’s called and Google isn’t helping much so I’m
asking here, hopefully somebody knows.

I'm new to self-hosting, so this may not be the right answer, but
maybe it's Habitica?

You're maybe thinking of gather.town, but i dont think they offer a
selfhosted solution.

Unfortunately no, virtual offices like that weren’t even a thing back
then, maybe it was even more than 5 years since I last saw or heard
about the project…

This was definitely more like a grindy game UI I think like Realm of
the mad god visual style
