What can I use as a dashboard for some pi zero 2s that show CPU/mem usage as well as allowing me to provide links to available services on it? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mean_Actuator3911 · 2023-11-27 15:47 So, I'm going to be building a mini network of pi zero 2s to take over the world and I want to display the CPU/memory usage with little graphs maybe when I hit the machine in a browser. I have NGINX running so a simple PHP thing should suffice? I don't really care about template/design as I'll be too busy putting frickin' lasers on my sharks. I don't really want to have to make it myself as I'll keep fiddling with it and adding things, so what are these things called and what options do I have? As it's just me who'll be monitoring it, I don't want some java-laden thing but even if it just caches graphs every x seconds will suffice. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Eirikr70 · 2023-11-27 16:04 I would recommend not to have such a dashboard with CPU/Mem usage : they use a fair amount of CPU themselves. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jonteponte71 · 2023-11-27 16:07 Homepage or Homarr? Both on github. There are lots of others as well but I believe both have options for adding things like cpu and memory usage. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- pigers1986 · 2023-11-27 16:08 https://www.monitorix.org/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mean_Actuator3911 · 2023-11-27 16:16 yeah, that's why i was thinking about caching the stats output then drawing the graph every x seconds / minutes. that'd be enough considering it's just on an internal network. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mirisbowring · 2023-11-27 17:32 Also reading those values takes recourses since cpu interrupts are useful ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cylian91460 · 2023-11-27 18:34 So having btop in a webpage ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Downtown_Series9505 · 2023-11-28 00:42 I have been really happy with netdata. Can also view on their webportal. Probably more info than you need ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gryd3 · 2023-11-28 05:56 Setup a zabbix node, and run an agent on each device. Data will be centralized... otherwise something like collectd is pretty darn tiny. That and|or rrdtool to store data for ad-hoc viewing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- VexoDev · 2023-11-28 11:15 You could setup Grafana with Prometheus and it should work fine.
