Trouble w/ Concurrent Connections To Teleport from Home Network reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tenifer_28 ยท 2023-11-26 18:45 So I've recently gotten into building out a home lab, and I want to use Teleport for my access management. The problem I have been experiencing is that I can't seem to get multiple devices to connect to the Teleport at the same time. I first discovered the problem while attempting to enroll a Proxmox VM on my server in teleport; I had a connection to the Web UI open on my PC to follow the enrollment steps, but my virtual machine would fail to pull the deployment script from teleport. I then found out that I couldn't connect to the Teleport Web UI on multiple devices on my home network; already signed into Web UI on my PC, I would fail to connect to the Web UI on my phone when it's on the home network, but if I disable Wi- Fi and used cellular it would connect with no issues. I don't have any fancy subnetting or VLANs (yet), and my PC and the server are connected via Ethernet. Here are some of the things I have tried/checked (will update as suggestions come through): * turning everything off and turning it back on again * reinstalling Proxmox * reinstalling Teleport * checking my virtual and physical machines can otherwise connect to the Internet and talk to each other * checking my virtual and physical machines can otherwise connect to Teleport Web UI if they are the on device trying to connect * ensured Proxmox Firewall rules are set correctly (also tried allowing all traffic, with no luck) * ensured port forwarding rules are set correctly * checking teleport logs for errors * asking Teleport Slack community for help Any and all additional troubleshooting tips + suggestions are welcome. This problem has been plaguing me for months and I'm about at my wits end.
