I've gotten my hands on a
[EDS8PS](https://www.lantronix.com/products/eds8ps-eds16ps/) and I'm a
noob so I'm not sure if this thing will be useful in creating a self-
hosted network or not.

The device lets you access your console devices via network. It wont
help you setup your own self-hosted network.
