Looking for a non docker Browser Virtual Desktop for file management.

Hi I have looked into Kasm, and i like it however it requires docker
and I am not looking to incorporate docker into my stack. I have seen
orb but the docs are so sparse that i can't proceed with it. Is there
a simple Virtual desktop i can setup and self host for file management
on my server? I would like remote users to manage their files.

Why do they need VDI to manage files? A simple web UI not enough?

Because remote users aren't as smart as you and I and are used to
traditional GUI
