What's up docker - ignore unstable reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TallWheel515 · 2023-11-25 18:11 Hi, I am starting to self host few apps through docker. I want to see, if any apps have updates. I don't want automatic update, so nothing breaks without me knowing. I was deciding between watchtower and What's up docker (WUP), and I decided to go with WUP because of GUI. I set up Jellyfin with "jellyfin/jellyfin:10.8.11". The problem is, that the WUP is detecting new version "20231124.3-unstable" instead of "10.8.12". How can I set up WUP, that he will ignore unstable versions? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fa11_away · 2023-11-25 18:33 Hi! If you add the `wud.tag.include` label to the container, WUD will only track versions that match the provided regular expresion. This is what I currently have for jellyfin and matches the versioning that they use for stable versions: - wud.tag.include=^\d+\.\d+\.\d+$$ Link to the docs: https://fmartinou.github.io/whats-up- docker/#/configuration/watchers/?id=include-only-3-digits-semver-tags
