Connecting to BlueBubbles on my home network via VPS

Hi all,

I'm trying to selfhost a BlueBubbles server, but with limitations:

* I don't want to change my home network setup for security reasons
* I don't want to require my phone to be on a VPN to connect to the BB
server

I have a VPS that I can use as a middle point between BB and my
device(s). I use Docker to host wg-easy on this server and use nginx
as a reverse proxy. I'm wondering if it's possible to Wireguard the BB
server to the VPS, and then expose that to the internet with a
subdomain. I don't have the Mac yet so I can't test it out, but has
anyone done something similar to this or have ideas/advice on how it
can be done?
