Permissions issue OpenMediaVault virtualbox shared folder

**Background:**
I'm struggling with all permissions with OMV. Specifically,
**Filebrowser plugin** on **OMV**, which is failing to access a
**shared folder** in **VirtualBox**. This issue is marked by
**"permission denied"** on the webgui

**Setup Details:**

- **Host System:** Running OpenMediaVault.
- **VirtualBox Setup:** Contains shared folders. installed virtaulbox
guest cd.
- **Filebrowser:** Installed on OMV for file management.


**The Core Problem:**

- **Filebrowser** shows the **VirtualBox shared folder**
- The issue seems to be related to user and group permissions.

**Attempts to Resolve:**

 **Modifying User and Group Permissions:**

1.  Tried adding a group so filebrowser would be part of admin/root
permission level
2. Tried changing ACLs so filebrowser had access
3. Tried filebrowser being part of **vboxsf**
   - Then deleted group vboxsf and created it in OMV, adding
filebrowser user to that and it did not work.
4. Gave filebrowser same permissions as root

5. Attempted to change folder permissions (`chmod -R 777`), which
didn't resolve the issue.

2. **Editing `/etc/group` File:**
   - Considered editing `/etc/group` to change the GID of `vboxsf` to
a GID that users already have access to.
  But I do not know which guid to use...


If you have any idea how to resolve this please let me know.
