first timer - apache2 server - WP working locally but not remotely

Hi all,

I'm trying to setup my first non-template based webserver.

with the assistance of chatGPT I have managed to setup a Proxmox LXC
(ubuntu 22.04) and then install the required kit and WP. (details in
pastebin link)

It was all working locally.

I then shutdown my old test server and copied MAC and IP, applying
that to the new ubuntu server.

the site is not reachable - bad gateway 502 via cloudflared).

when I try to reach it locally, now it does not work and when I try
reaching the admin page it is looking for the IP address ending .100
instead of the current address ending .41

if I change the ip back to .100 it works locally but still not working
remotely via cloudflared

Can someone please point me to the right config files to investigate
this?

I would not use recommend using chatgpt for tasks that you lack
understanding on. Read the manual for whatever you are trying to
install so that you understand what you've actually done. If something
in the text is unfamiliar then read the manual for that too.

I'm guessing you meant wouldn't.
Good point none the less. I'm revising this tomorrow, got nextcloud
working via chatgpt and yt videos and think I have figured out where I
am going wrong with WP

I don't think CF is the issue
I had the same issue when setting up nextcloud and have sorted that
out today (I have WP and NC setup already via CF but using templated
containers. Looking to build my own servers on current os that are
still developed and supported)

Sure did lol. In my opinion following blogs/guides is better than
chatgpt if you lack the ability to validate what chatgpt is telling
you. But either way any time you are entering a command that you don't
know what it is check the man page and try to really grok what is
going on.

Yeah to be fair I normally go with tech blogs/yt.

I'm find chatgpt handy for some things recently but yes man pages are
a great way verify
