Maybe DNS via HTTPS is activated via Notebook? Or a caching problem?
You can also set a NAT rule, that redirects every outgoing UDP53
request to [192.168.1.250](https://192.168.1.250)

If DNS requests to [192.168.1.250](https://192.168.1.250) are
generally working for VLAN-Clients you can simple check via AdGuard
logs.
