m3u/ts proxy for splitting large m3u files that can be used with xteve reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- RapidScampi · 2023-11-19 13:59 Can anyone direct me to a project that was linked here (I think) a little while ago. I can't remember the name of it, but it worked as a proxy to break up and refactor enormous m3u files that are too large to load into xteve or one of the public m3u manipulators. The m3u file which is loaded via URL is \~250Mb and xteve hangs when trying to load it. Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nullx · 2023-11-19 16:17 Maybe https://m3u4u.com/ ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- RapidScampi · 2023-11-20 15:52 that's what I was referring to when I said 'public m3u manipulators'. Reddit kept killing my post when naming it. Typical workflow is m3u URL -> [m3u4.com](https://m3u4.com) \-> xteve -> Jellyfin. That's no possible with this m3u file in either xteve directly or m3u4u as it's too big. Somewhere on the Internet someone's written a little app (Python- based, if I recall) that strips out these huge files before passing the m3u file to m3u4u. Another link in the chain, but seemingly the only way around this problem. I'll go on a rampage and find it at some point over the next week or so and I'll share the link when I do. cheers! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Xidilian · 2023-11-20 20:36 Please do share when you find this! My xteve is stuggling with my m3u file.
