Separate instances for internal & external apps

Hi there, I've been running a homelab since years but recently started
with converting everything to docker containers. Since I want to
separate internal only apps from external apps I have two  separate
servers each running docker, Portainer and Traefik.  Only the
"external" instance is reachable from the internet (networking is also
separate of course). Internal apps listen to
[app.interal.domain.com](https://app.interal.domain.com) and external
ones to [app.domain.com](https://app.domain.com) domains.

I now want to introduce Authentik into the mix for SSO - preferably
for both internal and external apps.  Is there a way to only use one
Authentik instance?

I would use two difference instances of Authentik. That's just my
personal opinion.
