Looking for self hosted music server

Hello , currently using navidrome running super well , no issues at
all .

The only draw for me is that I want to controller the playback using
either my phone or tablet and as far as I know navidrome doesn't
support *junkbox* yet .

Is there any self hosted servers allow for controlling playback using
phone or tablet ?

Navidrome has jukebox support ready for the next release - you could
try it by deploying the fresh build from master. But you need to pair
it with a subsonic client that has jukebox support as it has no
builtin webui. Gonic supports the jukebox APIs in its mainline
release, but again you need a client that has implemented the feature.
If you want *only* jukebox mode, MPD and its various clients might be
what you're looking for - although that client ecosystem is not as
active as Subsonic.

Local only, navidrome is the best imo. If adding extra services
(Tidal, Spotify etc) to your local collection and you want features
like multiroom and discovery playlists, Logitech Media Server is worth
a shout. Couldn't live without now.
