I want to make a live board displaying current tasks/kanban items for my projects at home. What are my software options? What are you using/doing to accomplish the same thing? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bigrjsuto · 2023-11-16 22:40 Hardware I have: * Raspberry Pis * MiniPCs * Server (Proxmox w/ TrueNAS VM) * Portable Monitor The first time I tried using a screen with a raspberry pi that would display my tasks webpage from nextcloud at full screen and set a cronjob to autorefresh, but the UI of the webpage is not great for just displaying tasks, since it's designed to create and manage tasks. So there was a lot of wasted space and it just looks bad for my purpose. Current thought is to make run a MagicMirror instance and only display a task module on the whole screen. What other options are there? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- WitShortage · 2023-11-17 11:00 Have you had a look at Jira? There is a free tier, and you can configure the "board" independently of the tickets. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sexyshingle · 2023-11-24 20:40 Have you looked at any of these self-hostable [Project Management options](https://github.com/awesome-selfhosted/awesome- selfhosted#software-development---project-management) from the awesome-selfhosted lists? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bigrjsuto · 2023-11-24 22:08 I've looked through the list before but I'm more looking for a good way to display my list of projects on a screen with a minimal UI. I've set up MagicMirror on a Debian LXC to only show the MMM-ncdeck module fullscreen. This seems pretty close to what I was looking for.
