Help with installing Bar Assistant on portainer reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thomasgriesdoorn · 2023-11-16 14:53 Hi Is there someone that succeeded to install Bar Assistant on portainer? [GitHub - bar-assistant/docker](https://github.com/bar- assistant/docker/) Does someone have or want to write a step by step guide on how to install it on portainer. i cant get it too work. Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- discoshanktank · 2023-11-16 17:11 I'm not super familiar with portainer since i usually run it with CLI but, for an easy option, try this. 1. you could download the repo by clicking the green code button and then click download zip 2. extract the zip file 3. Open the .env file and edit the password that's in there and make any other changes if needed 4. run the command "docker compose up -d" 5. go to the web portal for that container by going to the IP of the host you're running it on with port number 3000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- flaming_m0e · 2023-11-16 19:14 There's a docker compose file. Instead of calling the .env file you can just put your environment variables in the compose... This doesn't require a write up or step by step guide. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thomasgriesdoorn · 2023-11-17 09:01 I tried that but i get this error failed to deploy a stack: time="2023-11-17T08:56:11Z" level=warning msg="The \\"N\\" variable is not set.
