Accessing nextcloud remotely reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- winstonzys · 2023-11-15 05:04 Hey all My free access to onedrive will be expiring soon and I've been looking at moving to nextcloud since I have my own NAS. Initially I was going to use CloudFlare tunnel to handle remote access, but since a lot of the files I'm working with (CFD) are upwards of a gigabyte I'm a bit concened if this will work. Any comments are appreciated. I'm extremely new to this part of the world and would like to keep it relatively simple, but if needed I am quite comfortable with TUI (not sure if that'll be needed at all). The nas isn't a off the shelf solution, it's just something I have scrumbled up running truenas. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Scoth42 · 2023-11-15 06:07 I port forward to an nginx/certbot container to handle ssl that upstreams to my nextcloud, with a good strong login. Works well for me
