Networking Graph Software Help

So I'm looking to create a network graph to seek some advice on my
network that I have currently but I'm unsure where I should even begin
with the Network graph software itself.

Is there any good free software I can be using for my homelab?
Something built for this kind of thing over Word etc? :)

Just looking to actually plan out my network and hopefully get some
feedback to improve it later.

I was using Smokeping to monitor latency across my network for a bit.
There are probably some more advanced tools out there but it was
suiting my basic needs at the time.

Sorry I meant like mapping out my network, I said graph because
mindmap came to mind first.
