Closest US Alternative To Hetzner?

I'm essentially looking for a VPS provider closest to the
reliability/price/performance of Hetzner but with US-based 24/7
excellent customer service.  I don't need managed service but all the
unmanaged hosts I've used in the past typically had 24/7 telephone
support for emergencies (which maybe happen once every couple 3 years
or so) and for other issues, email response within 20 minutes 24/7.

I threw out some detailed questions to Hetzner and found although they
have US Data Centers, their normal quick customer support is not 24/7
due to the staff being in Europe so they are operating with minimal
support staff which may lengthen response times in the middle of the
night over there which is the middle of the day here.

I don't need managed hosting but the good companies will have what I
call "throw you a bone" support 24/7 where for example you are having
trouble identifying the cause of technical low-level server or network
based issue and one of their techs will quickly (within 20 min) check
it out for you to help determine the cause, at 1am in the morning.

Hetzner is, imo, unbeatable in terms of price/performance. I could
name some 'close but not quite' names in the US, but I cannot speak to
support levels.

The only time I talk to support is for billing/sales, otherwise I fix
everything myself. If you want 20min response to fix the network you
bollocksed up, you will need to pay extra for a support contract like
as not.

Anyway, some options are going to be OVH (seem to have local sales
support, not sure if they have local tech support) and Digital Ocean.
DIgitalOcean is reliable but pricey. More pricey than I think is worth
it.

But the good news is that Black Friday is around the corner, start
lurking on Low End Talk and maybe pick up a provider or two there.
