Duplicate SSL Certificates in Nginx Proxy Manager reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- one_minus_one · 2023-11-14 00:30 I'm sorry, this is likely a silly question but I can't seem to find the answer. I'm working on setting up my first SSL certificate. I'm using a Docker container of Nginx Proxy Manager, Godaddy DNS and attempted to set up a Let's Encrypt wildcard certificate using a DNS challenge. I ran into a few minor issues, including some timeouts. I had the propagation seconds set to a whopping 900 seconds per the GoDaddy plugin's recommendation. I submitted and came back 15 minutes later to find I have two certificates installed. [https://imgur.com/a/DaaEyY3](https://imgur.com/a/DaaEyY3) none of the guides reference this as a possibility, so I'm just wondering if I should just delete one, and if it matters which one I delete. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jameso781 · 2023-11-14 01:58 One of the time outs may inadvertently worked hence giving you two, assuming identical certificates. Deleting either one shouldn't be an issue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- arcadianarcadian · 2023-11-14 08:14 did you bind one of them to any host? If not you can delete any of them, then use the other one. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Juligun78 · 2023-11-14 13:36 I was in your situation and deleted the wrong one. After that when started NPM give me an error. I had to change the folder name of the certificates in order to solve it. (You can see where NPM is looking for in the npm logs. How this help you if you delete the wrong one.
