Does anyone have recommendations for a good file syncing app?

Currently I use Synology Drive Sync, which works great. I have Drive
Server running on my NAS, and Drive Client running on my PC. But I've
been slowly moving away from bare metal applications, just in case I
switch off of Synology one day.

[Seafile](https://www.seafile.com/en/home/) looks good, but I don't
know if it meets all your requirements.

Syncthing seems right for you

Syncthing would work well for just syncing.

So would Seafile, for a more Google Drive-like experience.

So would NextCloud, for more of an extensible Google Drive+Apps
experience that you can customize to your needs.

I second syncthing. I use obsidian. They want a fee to sync. I use
syncthing for free. Obsidian is synced across a personal Linux laptop,
personal Windows laptop, desktop, tablet, cell phone, and office
laptop. Works well. I also use it to sync working files. I can leave
my laptop in the office and still have convenient access from home.
