Trouble with API calls from Homepage to self-hosted services behind Traefik reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- neil_deadman · 2023-11-13 16:14 Hi there... I've just finished setting up Traefik and am in the process of migrating my Homepage config to the new .home.local URLs now that I am not using ports per service. However, they don't work. I get `API Error Information` instead. SERVICES.YAML - Testing: - "Sonarr": href: http://sonarr.home.local widget: type: sonarr url: http://sonarr.home.local key: xxxxxx In this example, Sonarr is working perfectly with no ports specified through the docker-compose file. It seems just the API calls are failling. This is happening for all the \*arr services plus some others. Since the services themselves are working, I've not posted the docker- compose files themselves as I don't believe they are relevant. I made no other changes to the services other than removing the ports listed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-11-13 16:26 Place Homepage into the same Docker network as those services (Sonarr etc), then use just the containername as hostname for the widget, not the full FQDN. And please stop using `.local` for your home network, it is already used by mDNS and can cause you weird issues. Use the TLDs that are specfically meant for this, for example `.private` or `.home` or `.lan` etc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- neil_deadman · 2023-11-13 17:30 Homepage is in the same network as the other docker services and I tried that but got the same issues. .home.local is not my real domain name. I use something else completely but changed it for this post. I'm aware r/Docker exists but wasn't sure if this was a Homepage issue or not. Wasn't aware of their discussion page though so will also try there.
