2 Minecraft Servers

Hi. I have some experience in self hosting things but when it comes to
stuff like load balancing or backups i just have nothing. I was just
wondering if anyone knew how to have the same minecraft server (one on
windows and one on a VM in proxmox) and have the windows on on a
reserve. since i work on  my server (proxmox) it can randomly go down
and i don't want the minecraft players to be stuck without a server
for 30 minutes+. So if anyone is able to point me in the right
direction that would be great help.


Also new to redit and this subredit so just tell me if i did something
wrong.

You can. You need to have a shared storage for both application nodes
that host the container image of Minecraft. Preferable the backup
container is not running. You can use Traefik with container plugin to
auto start the container when the main container goes down, so you
have to put Traefik in front of both containers.
