Deluge on K8S reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- deadlock_ie · 2023-11-12 21:19 Does anyone have an example deployment yaml for Deluge that they can share? I have it running, can connect to the WebUI, and can nmap 6881 on TCP+UDP from another host. For the life of me I can’t get it to download any of the torrents I add though. If I check the peers tab on any torrent, peers appear and disappear from the list constantly. I had more or less the same config running on Docker, so I’m at a loss as to why nothing will download. Linuxserver.io image if it helps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ms_83 · 2023-11-13 08:23 Check the file permissions on whichever storage you have attached. I had similar problems and that was the cause, the container couldn’t write to the NFS file share I had told it to use but modifying the permissions there was enough to get it working. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Neraud · 2023-11-13 10:26 I'm not sure it will help you, but I have deluge running in k8s. I'm using a pair of custom images for deluge : daemon and web-ui. You can find my custom images and k8s manifests [here](https://github.com/Neraud/home- server/tree/main/apps/base/download-deluge). But as ms\_83 has already suggested, you most probably have a permission issue with your volumes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- deadlock_ie · 2023-11-13 11:33 Thanks - that's worth checking. The container logs aren't showing any errors, even if I set DELUGE\_LOGLEVEL to debug but that could just be how the linuxserver team set up the docker image. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Neraud · 2023-11-13 12:20 What type of volume are you using for the downloads ? You could try replacing it temporarily with an `emptyDir` to check if that changes the behaviour. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- deadlock_ie · 2023-11-13 12:57 It's an NFS file share, same as u/ms_83. I don't have problems saving to the same share from my sabnzbd pod, so now I'm wondering if I remembered to set the UID and GID envvars in the Deluge one.
