DoH with Adguard Home container behind Caddy reverse proxy reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- denkorzh · 2023-11-11 17:40 Hi, I know that this topic is discussed here pretty frequently, however, I wasn't able to solve my problem after reading previous posts. I run the Caddy container on my VPS, and both Caddy and Adguard Home are in the same docker bridge network. Caddyfile contains these lines: http://adguard.example.org:80 { reverse_proxy http://adguard:80 { header_up X-Real-IP {remote_host} } } adguard.example.org:443 { reverse_proxy adguard:443 { header_up X-Real-IP {remote_host} } } During the Adguard Home installation wizard, I selected port 443 for the dashboard, since port 80 did not work for me for some reason. Everything worked fine before I started configuring the encryption in the GUI: [Error: control\/tls\/validate | validating tcp ports: duplicated values: \[443\] | 400](https://preview.redd.it/a0caztqt7rzb1.png?width =1206&format=png&auto=webp&s=b7d3fb01b52e09bc6c32127a0ef9af0d0c9ebcbc) These settings lead to an error message: >Error: control/tls/validate | validating tcp ports: duplicated values: \[443\] | 400 I checked the config file AdGuardHome.yaml and found the following: http: pprof: port: 6060 enabled: false address: 172.20.0.3:443 tls: enabled: false server_name: adguard.example.org force_https: true port_https: 443 port_dns_over_tls: 0 port_dns_over_quic: 0 port_dnscrypt: 0 dnscrypt_config_file: "" ... So, I really have two conflicting mentions of port 443. However, I cannot do anything with the *http* section: changing the port from 443 to 80 does not work. I tried to change the port from 443 to 3000 in the GUI (see the screenshot above), and it even works but I wouldn't like to bypass my reverse proxy and open the dashboard with this alternative port instead of the more common *https://adguard.example.org*. Can you advise anything? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-11-11 17:53 /r/Adguard? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Merseyside69 · 2023-11-12 10:48 You write about use VPS. You use cloudflare? He have support tunnel (reverse proxy) Cloudflare tunnel can proxy external traffic on your local machine (any port) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- denkorzh · 2023-11-12 10:56 Hi, no, I do not use it. So far, Caddy has met my needs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2023-11-19 18:37 [removed]
