Looking forward to updating ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LastTreestar · 2023-11-11 01:32 I tried it. Neat. But dashboards take far too long to setup. I'd like to see a network scan, or book mark import to initially setup the board. I am sure I'd shift to one of these if the onboarding included this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TheShadowGamer06 · 2023-11-11 01:35 Keep in mind when setting it up for the first time, the new version doesn't generate a new config file. So you have to edit your board first, save and exit the editor, then the settings should work. If you are upgrading your version from docker, as long as you re pull the image the config files and stuff should remain from the old version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- xiaocutezi · 2023-11-11 03:32 Didn't go well for my docker version. *Error \[TRPCClientError\]: Unexpected token 'I', "Internal S"... is not valid JSON* *at TRPCClientError.from (file:///app/.next/server/src/middleware.js:1729:16)* *at (file:///app/.next/server/src/middleware.js:2069:36)* *at process.processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task\_queues:95:5)* *\[next-auth\]\[error\]\[CLIENT\_FETCH\_ERROR\]* *https://next-auth.js.org/errors#client\_fetch\_error fetch failed {* *error: {* *message: 'fetch failed',* *stack: 'TypeError: fetch failed\\n' +* *' at Object.fetch (/app/node\_modules/next/dist/compiled/undici/index.js:1:26669)\\n' +* *' at process.processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task\_queues:95:5)',* *name: 'TypeError'* *},* *url: 'http://localhost:3000/api/auth/session',* *message: 'fetch failed'* *}* ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jimbuscus · 2023-11-11 09:48 0.13.4 runs fine on my x86_64 Ubuntu Server 22.04.3 LTS docker, but 0.14 [isn't working](https://imgur.com/k9kX8wh.png) on my machine. Not sure what information I can provide to help, but I have rolled back to *ghcr.io/ajnart/homarr:0.13.4* and is running fine, possible just a config compatibility issue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ajnart · 2023-11-11 12:00 Can you reach out on discord ? We're trying to solve some issues regarding user compatibility. Did you at least get to see the onboarding page ? If not, there might be an error with your mountpoints ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jimbuscus · 2023-11-11 12:38 I have posted it on the Discord now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- drizzleV · 2023-11-11 13:09 I pulled the new docker image and got this error: [next-auth][error][CLIENT_FETCH_ERROR] https://next-auth.js.org/errors#client_fetch_error fetch failed { ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- maximus459 · 2023-11-11 13:33 At last!! Been waiting on this for so long 😭 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EddieKeytonJr · 2023-11-12 10:02 Tried installing it 3 times and all 3 times everything worked except for when I click on “customize” I get a client side error. Gave up. New install. Not upgrade. Probably something I did wrong. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- triksterMTL · 2023-11-13 01:04 Same here ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Low-Chapter5294 · 2023-11-13 12:59 Things I didn't want. Homarr is a nice simple system - why add cruft? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- xneo1 · 2023-11-13 20:14 I updated a couple of hours ago. I had backed my previous dashboard. It showed a previous dashboard after upgrade. I edited the title it saves but then restored to the previous name. I copied my previous backup overwriting the defauld (previous version) but only for less than a minute. Then it went back to the previous version. I have mount the data folder in which an sqlite db is created. I will my backup with a different name than default to see what happens. I presume the json and db file correlate and I hope the config from 0.13.4 is imported in sqlite. Otherwise I will return temporarily to 0.13 until an update. Thanks to the developer for this great upgrade! I started with Heimdall then Dashy, Homer, homepage, flame(probably a couple more) and stick to Homarr. Greetings from Greece! Keep up the good work! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- xneo1 · 2023-11-13 21:42 To follow up on my previous comment, I did copied my 0.13.4 config with a different name to the new installation and it did stay as is. If I edit this dashboard and change an app's position, it doesn't stays after exiting save mode. Then when I went to "Customize board" and went to "Page title" it has the title of default dashboard. Did the twice and after the second time it was saved. Now I go to Customize and I see the new page title. At the first attempts after clicking "Back to Board" it went to the previous "default" dashboard even if I changed to the new one called "Ainu". Now it goes back to the new one and any edits are saved. When I have time I will browse the sqlite, but probably the changes are now saved in the db. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lfcliverbird96 · 2023-11-15 06:50 How do you restore the JSON file for your existing config with this new version? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kamiar_ · 2023-11-16 20:28 did you figure out how ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lfcliverbird96 · 2023-11-16 20:48 I've not, just redid it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kamiar_ · 2023-11-16 23:02 from the dev github This has been removed as for now we don't have a way to upload it back, we might add it back in the future. For now you should just backup your config by using a file manager ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jkrwld1 · 2023-11-21 12:53 Hello, I have just started playing with Homarr a few weeks a go for some relatives and was enjoying it a lot, relatives aren't computer savvy and the buttons and bookmarks were great for them and very easy to use for them. I did a rookie mistake and updated to the new version with out reading about the new updates. My current problem with the new version is that it is slower, they now have to login (come on, 8 characters and special character?? how secure does a in network media server and dashboard have to be?) then figure out how to get the dash up. The open dash resets tile locations and the logon tiles relocate if being viewed on a monitor with different resolution. The last issue for me, The Welcome tile can not be deleted because both edit buttons are on top of each other. Is there anyway that I can revert back to the last version??
