Trying to put isp router in bridge mode, very much in over my head reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- pvanryn · 2023-11-09 13:18 What happens if you plug your computer directly into the modem - do you have internet access ? Usually when I have problems with bridge mode, it is because I am not authenticated with my ISP, and I have to reset the modem and authenticate, then go back into bridge mode. In my case, I set the modem to bridge mode via a software interface. Have you called your ISP ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MonkAndCanatella · 2023-11-09 14:42 Interesting. Well it's a modem router combo, and if I take the asus out of the chain it works again. It's just when inserting the asus router between the modem and the switch that I can't get an internet connection. I'm going to try contacting them today, but they are beyond useless. Most of them don't even know what bridge mode ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kmisterk · 2023-11-09 16:24 ## Post Removed Hey, MonkAndCanatella!
